The design
Every pattern starts with a designer in the Netherlands. With pencil, brush or tablet, and inspired by what's close by: old tiles, wild flowers, a summer by the sea.

The colour
Each design comes in several colourways, from soft cream to deep terracotta. So the same pattern fits a light, calm interior and a warm, layered home.

The print
We print the design in Europe on a soft base rug. So every line stays sharp and every colour looks exactly as the designer intended.

Every Dutch Design rug starts as a drawing by a designer in the Netherlands. We then print the design in Europe on a soft base rug, in several colourways.
Vacuum regularly without a rotating brush and dab stains right away with a damp cloth. Many designs are machine washable: check the care instructions on the product page of your rug.
The colours are printed into the fibres, so they stay vivid with normal use. Like any rug, avoid long periods of direct, bright sunlight on indoor rugs. Our outdoor rugs are made to be used outside.
Yes. Our outdoor rugs are easy to clean and work well in a kitchen, hallway or kids' room too.
Under a sofa, let the rug run at least under the front legs. Under a dining table, add about 60 cm on each side so chairs stay on the rug. Each product page has a size guide to help you choose.
