Wool rug - Theodore Cream gives the bedroom or living room a light, soft base. The cream shade reflects daylight, which keeps a smaller room feeling open and makes oak furniture and linen curtains look fresher. It suits a Scandinavian, Japandi or modern interior built around light colours and natural materials.

Theodore by Studio Clarice is tufted from 100% New Zealand wool on a cotton backing. The 40 mm pile creates a plush, full surface that feels soft every time you step onto it.

It works best beside the bed, in a reading corner or under a coffee table. Under dining chairs, a lower pile is more practical.

Care

Vacuum twice a week with the brush retracted, this also reduces shedding on a new wool rug. Blot a spill immediately with a clean, slightly damp cloth without rubbing, so dirt does not work further into the fibre. Wool dries more slowly than other materials, so avoid getting it too wet. Shake the rug out outside occasionally for a deeper clean between vacuuming.

Care

Regular vacuuming reduces shedding on a new cotton rug. Blot a spill immediately with a damp cloth: cotton absorbs moisture quickly, so a spill would otherwise work further in. Keep the rug out of direct sunlight to slow down fading. A nonslip rug underlay keeps the rug in place and extends its lifespan.
